Klean Kanteen Hosts Live Art at GoPro Mountain Games to Support American Rivers
CHICO, Calif. (June 7, 2018) – Klean Kanteen, the leader in stainless steel reusable drinkware and the official sustainability partner of the 2018 GoPro Mountain Games, has teamed up with renowned artist and activist Sarah Virginia Uhl to create live artwork at this year’s event. Uhl will be painting water color scenes of iconic American riverways in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, with proceeds going to American Rivers.
“The GoPro Mountain Games is one of our favorite festivals of the year and we have been longtime partners of the event,” said Melissa McClary, Field Marketing Manager. “This year, being the 50th anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, we were looking for a way to celebrate and support our country’s most beautiful waterways. Sarah is using her art to draw attention to the importance of these rivers and raise money to help protect them.”
Uhl will be in the Klean Kanteen booth in Vail Village Thursday through Saturday, painting and selling her art, with all proceeds going to American Rivers, a non-profit dedicated to protecting and restoring rivers and conserving clean water.
Join Klean Kanteen and American Rivers at Checkpoint Charlie stage for happy hour each day to enjoy live music.
