Matador Launches Patterned Designs for Three Best-Selling Products

BOULDER, Colo. (Oct. 15, 2019) – Matador Packable Adventure Gear, the award-winning producer of portable travel gear, today introduced two new patterns, which will be available on three of its most popular products – the DL16 Backpack, the Hip Pack, and Transit Tote Bag. The new colorways offer more variety in Matador’s line of ultra-functional and packable travel products and are the first of several launches which Matador will be unveiled in the coming months.

“We pride ourselves on creating some of the most purposeful and efficient travel gear on the market, and we’ve always focused on a sleek, minimalistic color scheme,” said Chris Clearman, Founder and CEO of Matador. “As a leader in the space of packable adventure gear, we wanted to offer diversity for our favorite products, and we think these are really going to be a hit with our fans and those just now discovering our brand and products. This is just a first taste of some new and exciting products that we will release this year. Stay tuned.”

The patterns, “pop” and “leaf,” are a way for Matador to introduce its products to a broader market. “Pop” is a modern print composed of turquoise, beige, black, white and grey colorways in varying camouflage-like patterns, sprinkled with fashionable polka dots and stripes. “Leaf” features coral foliage printed on a blue background. The designs will be dye-sublimated and offered on the following products:

  • Matador DL16 Backpack – A weatherproof, packable backpack offering superior performance in the smallest possible package, compressing tofit in the palm of a hand. The lightest and most compact backpack in Matador’s line, the DL16 is perfect for keeping in a car or throwing in a carry-on so there is a day pack wherever you go.

  • The Matador Hip Pack – The perfect hands-free place to keep your essentials, Matador’s Hip Pack is ideal for festivals, travels and explorations.
