Brew Dr. Kombucha Cracks Open New Cans
Four flavors will be first canned kombucha available nationwide
PORTLAND, Ore. (July 2, 2018) — Brew Dr. Kombucha is the first major kombucha brand to offer its delicious, refreshing beverages in aluminum cans nationwide. Brew Dr. Kombucha’s Clear Mind, Love, and Mint Lemonade flavors are now available in all Whole Foods Market stores. A fourth flavor, Ginger Turmeric, is available in limited distribution.

Since launching Brew Dr. Kombucha in 2008 from the kitchens of Townshend’s Teahouses, the brand has continued to innovate its kombucha-making process. Using a specially designed distillery, Brew Dr. Kombucha removes the alcohol from the fermented tea without the use of heat, preserving the beverage’s beneficial live and active cultures. All varieties use Townshend’s custom organic tea blends, herbs, and botanicals resulting in a smooth and balanced taste. No juices. No artificial flavorings. No funny business.
A fan favorite, Clear Mind is made using a blend of rosemary, mint, sage and green tea to produce a bright, invigorating flavor. The Love flavor combines jasmine and lavender to create a refreshing floral brew and gives back to 1% for the Planet. Mint Lemonade features spearmint, peppermint, lemons and green tea to create a classic combination that is light and delicious. Ginger Turmeric is a zesty beverage of ginger and turmeric presenting the perfect botanical blend for any time of day.
Brew Dr.’s canned varieties are available in packs of four 12-ounce cans and retail for $11.99. Brew Dr. Kombucha’s new cans will be distributed across the U.S.

Townshend’s Tea Company was started by Matt Thomas in 2006 with the idea of serving great teas in a casual teahouse setting.
