Any Donation Made to Defend Public Lands Will be Matched up to $80,000

December 3, 2019 (Salt Lake City) – Access Fund, dedicated to keeping climbing areas open and conserving the climbing environment, is pleased to announce that Black Diamond Equipment will match dollar-for-dollar any donation made to the cause before December 15.

“Irreplaceable climbing areas are under scrutiny by private interest,” said Access Fund executive director, Chris Winter. “We’ve made significant progress on Capitol Hill this year, gaining protection for Wilderness climbing areas, but there is still more work to be done. We’re at a crux right now, and with Black Diamond matching every dollar, donations made to Access Fund can have twice the impact.”

Black Diamond has agreed to match donations to Access Fund up to $80,000. Access Fund has a minimum donation of $35, and beyond monetary giving, there are other ways to help: become a member, spread awareness, share your thoughts, share Access Fund’s social posts, and stay informed!
