Dry On: Matador Launches Towels Engineered for Ultralight Pursuits
BOULDER, Colo. (March 18, 2021) – Matador Travel Equipment, the award-winning producer of high-performance travel equipment, today introduced its Ultralight Travel Towels, lightweight towels designed for compact portability and maximum absorbency. The towels, which are offered in two sizes, compress into an integrated mesh stuff sack for convenient stowing.
“We’ve taken our best-selling travel towels and engineered them for those who count every ounce,” said Chris Clearman, Founder and CEO of Matador. “These ultralight towels offer all of the same benefits, at nearly half the weight. Whether you’re headed to the trail or the airport, you can count on the Ultralight Travel Towels to keep you dry without weighing you down.”
The Ultralight Travel Towels are constructed with a quick-drying nanofiber material, capable of absorbing 2.3 times its own weight in water. The towels feature a buckle loop for hanging, and the storage sack features a Hypalon™ handle and hang loop for attaching to luggage. The large version of the towel is 47 inches by 24 inches when unpacked and weighs only 81 grams; the small version is 15 inches by 15 inches when unpacked and weighs only 25 grams. Both versions are machine washable.
The Matador Ultralight Travel Towels (MSRP: $35.99 [large], $16.99 [small]) are available now at select retailers and online at http://www.matadorup.com/.
