TAXA Outdoors Cohabitates with Backbone Media
HOUSTON, TX (February 23, 2021)–TAXA Outdoors, makers of design-driven mobile human habitats, has partnered with Backbone Media to support its public relations and social media. As TAXA’s agency of record, Backbone will focus on brand-building and raising awareness for the company’s growing fleet of habitats.
The brainchild of Garrett Finney, award-winning designer and former senior architect for the Habitability Design Center at NASA, TAXA Outdoors was founded on the idea that the best way to enjoy the outdoors is in an environment that inspires adventure. That vision has guided the design process for TAXA habitats,which are created with usability and sustainability in mind, and designed to complement the outdoors rather than shut them out.
“We’ve seen explosive growth in the past year, as so many people are discovering the outdoors or enjoying them in new ways,” said Divya Brown, president and chief operating officer at TAXA Outdoors. “We feel like our journey is just getting started, and know that Backbone’s passion and shared values will help elevate our brand stories and introduce our habitats to new consumers.”
TAXA Outdoors currently offers four core models, and recently released The Mantis Overland and The Tiger Moth Overland for the 2021 season. All habitats are made with rugged eco-friendly materials, can be towed by a variety of vehicles, and fit in a standard garage for storage.
